Create Sustained Overseas Employment Pathways for the People of Karnataka

The International Migration Centre Karnataka (IMC-K) is an initiative of the Department of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Livelihood (SDEL), Government of Karnataka established to create sustained overseas employment pathways for people of Karnataka and make international migration from the State safe, orderly, humane and efficient.

SDEL has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Public Affairs Centre (PAC), a think tank based out of Bengaluru to implement the IMC-K framework as technical and knowledge partner. The Framework is titled as Roll-out and Implementation Support to Establish and Institutionalise the International Migration Centre – Karnataka (IMC-K) and is a five-year partnership between the SDEL and the PAC from 2018-2023.
