The International Migration Centre – Karnataka (IMC-K) is one of the 23 PDOT Centres in India recognised by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to provide quality Pre-Departure Orientation (PDO) for emigrants departing to the 18 notified countries, including the GCC countries, under the Emigration Act, 1983.
IMC-K presently has 33 Master Trainers on PDO certified by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). IMC-K also specialises in providing both language-specific training and soft skills to emigrants. The IMC-K PDOT Centre is located in Bengaluru.
Please contact your Recruitment Agent (RA) for booking a slot for PDO prior to your departure. You need not necessarily be recruited by the State Government RA- K. You can still avail the opportunity to obtain PDO by speaking to your RA with a request to book the slot with the IMC-K PDOT Centre.
IMC-K also proposes to provide PDO through its four Migrant Resource Centres (MRCs) located at the Divisional level in Karnataka.
