The International Migration Centre – Karnataka (IMC-K) hosts two registered Recruitment Agencies (RAs) being run by the Government of Karnataka - the Karnataka Skill Development Corporation Ltd. (KSDC) and the Karnataka State Unorganized Worker Social Security Board (KSUWSSB).

Both the RAs are registered with the Protector General of Emigrants (PGE), Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India, and are thus guided by the rules and regulations laid in the Emigration Act 1983 and its revisions. They are the only two authorized Government Recruitment Agencies (RAs) in Karnataka eligible for recruitment of women migrant workers travelling to 18 Emigration Check Required (ECR) countries as per the Emigration Act, 1983.

IMC-K strives to provide sustained Overseas Employment Pathways to people of Karnataka by enabling the RAs-K to provide overseas employment opportunities, and make the State a preferred State of origin for skilled and certified manpower across the spectrum of occupations and sectors. The IMC-K networks with various stakeholders involved in the recruitment of manpower from India, including other Recruitment Agencies, Project Exporters, Manpower Agencies, Foreign Employers and Foreign Recruitment Agencies. IMC-K, through the RAs-K, is continuously developing one of the largest databases of manpower from Karnataka across skill sets in a structured manner. The Migration Facilitation Architecture (MFA), in the form of 30 Migrant Information Centers (MICs) in all districts, 4 Migrant Regional Centres ( MRCs) at the divisional level and 1 Migrant State Centre (MSC) at the State level in Bengaluru.

IMC-K encourages Foreign Employers (FEs) from various countries looking to recruit from India to register with this Portal at the Login page. It would enable the RAs-K to coordinate with the registered FEs to understand the demand for manpower from Karnataka and conduct the recruitment as per the requirements of the FEs.
